Homework:

8/21/2019- Bring a still image to class- that represents your interpretation of the island in Shakespeare's A Tempest

8/23/2019- Bring a video loop to class (on a USB flash drive or email it to yourself) - the loop should communicate an ambient environment for the island in Shakespeare's A Tempest - this could be a water effect - the ocean, a star effect, storm, or any other magical ambient effect. A loop is short (e.g. 15 seconds to 1 minute- and you shouldn't be able to detect the looping- from end frame to beginning frame).  There are sites that specialize in loops- free- and paid- e.g. motionloops.com.

Check sites like vimeo. Again, be aware of the creative license, and do not take someone else's work. (Due- Monday, August 27th, 2019)

9/13/2019- Complete the assignment (as described in the reading and on the handout). You will bring 3x3 images (a total of 9 - 3 images per word choice-  either in storyboard format - 3 per page- or 1 page per image). This assignment is due Monday, Sept. 18th, 2017.

10/4/2019- Begin presentations of Video/Projection Design Projects- present your overall design concept and example images for the show: A Midsummer Night's Dream. This includes your ideas about use of projectors, style of imagery, and other projection effects.

10/9/2019- Continue presentations of Video/Projection Design Projects- present your overall design concept and example images for the show: A Midsummer Night's Dream. This includes your ideas about use of projectors, style of imagery, and other projection effects. (Review for Test #1)

10/11/2019- Test #1- on Video Projection Key terms and concepts.

10/18/2019- Vocabulary #3- Audio/Sound Terms (PDF)
